Color Meanings In Design
This has always been a fascinating subject. I think all company’s consider this with their logs and websites, and it’s probably talked about less than it should be. Colours can stir strong emotions in people all over the world. Think about logos and brands you’re familiar with – and what colours they use (and are trying to convey).
“Every colour creates an emotional reaction in people. These reactions will be based on culture but by far and large the reactions they create are similar. In designs we use colour to help guide emotion and give people an immediate feeling the first time they interact with something. In the design world, colours are purposely selected to meet a bigger goal.”
